Job Title: Tools Development Engineer
Job Summary: This development engineer will report to the Senior Manager – Tools Development, and will be responsible for developing storage based support center facing tools and system integrations that will provide end-to-end case automation, early warning alerting tools for SAN devices, supportability dashboard tool, and a web interfacing tools for capturing the customer details.
Function: This consultant will be responsible for:
• Assisting management with project definition and priorities
• Development, debugging, test and deployment activities
• Will create a web based interface for sales team for documenting the customer details
• Will develop, debugging, test and deploy the tools repository. Tools repository is a new feature which aims at collating all the tools/scripts available in entire company. This feature will have functionalities like accepting the new tools, knowledge base inputs, search and listing of the tools.
• Would be working on the database modules which involve table creation, data dumping and forming the sql queries for data extraction.
• Required to create a programming interface for CRM and pull the required CRM information into the GSS tools.
• Required to create a programming interface for Bugzilla and pull the required Bugzilla information into the GSS tools.
• Will diligently complete all assigned tasks in the stipulated time period.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have successful academic records with good communication skills. This person will have proficiency in the following technical and programming disciplines:
• SQL
• Oracle/Mysql
• Python Scripting
• Perl Scripting
• Linux/Unix
Education: Final year BE /BTECH/MTECH,
EXPERIENCE 0-1Yrs
