Job Code: Senior Engineer Dynamic System Modeling Analyst
Job Location: Pune
Job Description: Perform Dynamic modeling and Simulation analysis to support conceptual/preliminary/detailed design of systems and sub-systems of Automotive, Agricultural, construction and forestry equipments, Hydraulic circuits, Vehicle Dynamics etc.
Use EASY5 or AMESIM to model hydraulic circuits and components.
Parameterize model by using supplier catalogue data.
Use engineering judgment to derive default values for component characteristic data if supplier data is not available or delayed.
Decide operating point and input data required for simulation.
Perform simulation activity using the appropriate tools.
Analyze results for desired project objective and recommend alternate solutions.
Participate and present in reviews with stake holders to substantiate analytical results for validating design.
Provide analytical and design support for field/production/supply chain issues related to engineering.
Document analysis and design activities in standard report formats

Candidate Requirement
3+ years industrial experience in the development of control systems and simulation modeling Experience with Mathworks tools: Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow Systems engineering background to understand plant functionality.
Communication skills to strongly collaborate with various engineering groups like design and PV&V.
Understanding of dynamic system modeling. Understanding of control system design, modeling and simulation.
Understand mechanical and electrical components used in Automotive systems.
Mechanical dynamic systems modeling experience
Understand hydraulic circuits (in form of schematics or Automation studio models).
Understand electric circuits (in form of schematics or EDA model).
Understanding of Vehicle dynamics Experience with Mathworks tools: Simscape (SimHydraulics, SimMechanics, etc), system identification, controls, etc. Prior experience with any of following tools: LMS Virtual.Lab, ADAMS, EASY5, AMESIM, PSIM, Automation studio, 20sim, Simulation, ITISim, Modelica, Dymola is a plus.
Control algorithm design for automotive applications such as engine control, cruise control, fuel control, stability control, knock control, ignition control etc. Awareness to 6 sigma tools and technology is an added advantage
Must Have : Bachelor in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical) Desirable : Masters in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical, Control, Dynamics etc)
